Out Of Season was a commission to respond to Angela Schanelec's film The Afternoon. The following monologue ruminated:
'This afternoon I really wanted an ice cream. But while I was sitting there, I suddenly lost my appetite. It was a pity. I'd been so looking forward to it. I had already imagined it. The taste, the feeling on the tongue. Its softness and coldness. The warm taste of vanilla. I don't know why I didn't want one any more.'
The original sculpture is from a series exhibited in the Ace Hotel London as part of Ceramic Arts London.
The month-long exhibition featured Emma Corrall, Tamsin van Essen, Anja Lubach and Ian Mcintyre.
